The umbrella was produced due to an idea of my long-term client, René
Daniels, who lives in Singapore. He wished to have an umbrella he could use
for multiple purposes: as a protection against rain as well as against strong
sunlight. So he assigned me to develop a colorful, fresh and new design.
The choice of the motive is unusual for an umbrella, since every fabric-element
has a different design.
The umbrella construction is aluminum, it opens manually. The original, exclusive
design is screenprinted on the fabric (polyester). It has been produced by
the German company EuroSchirm in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
